This series is set in modern times and is a sequel to "The Royal", the original series that had been set in the 1960s. Kirsty plays the part of Doctor Sarah Chatwin, a registrar heavily involved in the dramas that occur on, and off, the wards of St. Aidan's Royal Free Hospital.
